Semax 10MG
Semax is a synthetic heptapeptide analogue derived from the N-terminal fragment of Adrenocorticotropic Hormone (ACTH 4-7), developed by the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the same institution behind Selank. It has been extensively researched for its nootropic, neuroprotective, and neurotrophic properties, with a particularly strong focus on BDNF modulation and cognitive enhancement.
Semax stimulates the expression of BDNF and its receptor TrkB, supporting neuronal survival, synaptic plasticity, and cognitive function. It also modulates dopaminergic and serotonergic activity, and has demonstrated significant neuroprotective effects under conditions of oxidative stress and ischemia.
